Gary Nelson addresses the importance of maintaining US waterways at Congressional roundtable

April 2018 – On Friday, April 20th, Port of Grays Harbor Executive Director Gary Nelson participated in the U.S. House Subcommittee on Water Resources roundtable discussion, “America’s Water Resources Infrastructure: Concepts for the Next Water Resources Development Act, Part II” in Coos Bay, Oregon, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Congressman Peter DeFazio’s home district.

Draft 2018 Grays Harbor County Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan available for review and comment.

Mike Folkers selected as Director of Finance and Administration

April 2018 – The Port of Grays Harbor is pleased to announce that Mike Folkers will be joining the senior management team as the new Director of Finance and Administration, replacing current Director of Finance Mary Nelson who will be retiring in June after 23 years with the Port.

Public Outreach Session on Grays Harbor County Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan

March 2018 – Citizens of Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Cosmopolis, and any other nearby area are invited to attend a public outreach session hosted by the City of Aberdeen to learn about the risks associated with natural hazards that may impact our area, and to provide input that will assist planners in updating the Grays Harbor County Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan.
