Pasha Group and Port of Grays Harbor Sign Marketing Agreement

Aberdeen, WA – Deepwater marine terminals; acres of cargo yard; dockside warehousing; direct North American rail connections; four-lane highway to Interstate 5; these assets are all conveniently located less than 2 hours from open sea at the Port of Grays Harbor in Washington State. International logistics company, The Pasha Group, has committed to help Grays Harbor officials maximize usage of this unique shipping infrastructure.

The Pasha Group, a diversified transportation and logistics company, providing innovative global logistics solutions for a wide range of clients worldwide, has signed a joint marketing agreement with the Port of Grays Harbor. The agreement outlines a marketing relationship where both parties will work to attract a variety of cargoes to Washington’s only deep-water port located directly on the Pacific Coast. The agreement comes on the heals of last week’s successful auto shipment at the Port of Grays Harbor where Pasha handled the dockside handling and logistics.

“The Pasha Group believes that Grays Harbor is uniquely and strategically positioned to be a major automotive processing and distribution facility long into the future, ” said Stan Gabara, The Pasha Group’s Vice President of Automotive Services. “Grays Harbor possesses superior vessel access, land availability, a skilled and motivated workforce and excellent proximity to the major markets of Tacoma/Seattle, Portland by truck, and to the heartland of the U.S. by railroad.”

Historically a log export port, Grays Harbor has handled a variety of breakbulk cargoes and most recently automobiles at its Terminal 4 facility. The Port’s Marine Terminal 4 boasts two deep-water berths with paved uplands, warehousing and dockside rail access. Port officials believe a partnership with Pasha will lead to steady business at this coastal port.

“Grays Harbor’s strategic location on Washington’s outer coast and our North American rail connections are a perfect fit for auto and breakbulk shipments,” reports Gary Nelson, Executive Director of the Port of Grays Harbor. “The Pasha Group will be an excellent partner in developing Terminal 4 to its full potential. The Port believes the additional business will compliment our successful liquid and dry bulk loading operations at Terminal 2.”

The Port of Grays Harbor, Washington State’s only deepwater port on the Pacific Coast, operates 4 marine terminals and over 400 acres of industrial property. Only 1-vessel hours from open sea, Grays Harbor offers rail and highway access to markets throughout North America.
