Salmon Run projections

We have one of the strongest expected runs of Chinook salmon that has been seen in many years. While our Coho projections are down from the past few year, we still anticipate a RED HOT sports fishing season.

Halibut Open Sunday, May 2
Sundays and Tuesdays until quota is met
Bag limit: 1
Rock Fish Open Year Round
Bag limit: 10
No Canary or Yellow Eye may be retained
Open 7 days per week
Ling Cod Open Saturday, March 13
Bag limit: 2
Open 7 days per week
Salmon 2010 Sports Salmon Season
Open Saturday, June 12 thru Wednesday June 30
Chinook Only
Bag limit: 2 Chinook
All Chinook must be marked with a healed adipose fin clip

Closed July 1, 2 & 3 for salmon
Reopen: Sunday July 4th thru Sunday Sept. 19
Chinook quota 28,000
Coho quota 24,860
Five days per week. Sunday thru Thursday
Two fish limit, 1 Coho or 1 Chinook or 2 Coho
All Coho must be marked with a healed adipose fin clip
Tuna Starts in early July and runs into mid October, 7 days per week.
