Port welcomes Greg Dineen as Marine Terminal Superintendent – Safety & Security

ABERDEEN, WASH.  –   The Port of Grays Harbor is pleased to announce Greg Dineen will be joining the Port’s Trade team as the new Marine Terminal Superintendent - Safety & Security. 

Mr. Dineen brings more than three decades of manufacturing and safety supervision experience at local mills and manufacturing facilities.  A graduate of the Central Washington University, Mr. Dineen holds a BS in Industrial Engineering Technology and is also Washington State EMT-B certified.

“With his exceptional background and experience, we are thrilled to have Greg join the Port’s team,” shared Deputy Executive Director Leonard Barnes.  “He will be a great compliment to the Trade team that will surely be busy as our customers and the Port look to expand over the next few years.”

Mr. Dineen will be responsible for the overall security of the Port’s Marine Terminals, as well as the planning, development, and management of the Port’s safety initiatives for the Marine Terminals.   He will begin his position with the Port on January 2, 2024. 

Led by Deputy Executive Director Leonard Barnes, Mr. Dineen joins Marine Terminal Superintendent & Facility Security Officer Nolan Wyatt, along with Business & Trade Development Assistant Shannon Anderson to round out the Port’s Trade team.

Founded in 1911, the Port of Grays Harbor is one of Washington State’s oldest port districts and Washington’s only deep-water port located directly on the Pacific Ocean.  The Port of Grays Harbor operates 4 deep-water marine terminals, the Westport Marina, Bowerman Airport, Grays Harbor ship assist services, numerous public waterfront access facilities, in addition to industrial and business parks throughout the County.  The addition of Satsop Business Park increased the Port’s properties to more than 1,000 acres of industrial properties and an additional 1,200 acres of sustainably managed forestland.  Strategically located midway between Seattle and Portland and less than 1 ½ hours from open sea, the Port of Grays Harbor provides businesses a diverse portfolio of facilities.
