The Westport Marina District, a commercial fishing hub, is home to a suite of public waterfront access facilities, restaurants, shops, recreation, and tourism activities.

The recreational activity based out of the marina is diverse, and the working waterfront offers an entertaining glimpse into the commercial fishing industry. Visitors are welcome to stroll the docks and check out all the activities and wildlife.

One of the unique experiences available is purchasing fresh, locally caught seafood directly from Westport's fishermen or fish markets. Want to try catching some yourself? Westport has an excellent charter fleet that hosts anglers from across the globe. Prefer to stay close to shore? Throwing a crab ring off the docks is a favorite pastime and a great choice for first-time anglers.

The Port Centennial Viewing Tower, Fishermen's Boardwalk, Viewing Platform, 17 Public Access Docks, and the Waterfront Esplanade provide visitors a front-row seat to the mighty Pacific Ocean, the working waterfront, gorgeous views, and the many unique recreational opportunities that take place here.

The Westport Marina activity is constant, entertaining, engaging, and always changing, charming folks year after year to return to this unique coastal fishing town.

Working Marina

Westport, WA is a national leader in seafood harvest, a regional hub for commercial fishing activity, and the largest marina in Washington State for commercial fishing vessels. Each year, 100+ Million pounds of seafood cross the docks to reach domestic and international markets around the globe. The hundreds of fishermen whose boats are moored in the Westport Marina are the irreplaceable link between quality seafood and those who want to enjoy it.

The commercial vessels in the marina range from 35 ft– 100+ feet long, harvesting Dungeness crab, salmon, albacore tuna, shrimp, oysters, prawns, pacific whiting, and more throughout the year. Vessels enter the marina to offload, purchase fuel, bait, and ice, and find safe harbor.
