Friends Landing Camp Host

A volunteer camp host is needed to assist the campground caretaker and Port of Grays Harbor staff with routine visitor services and general maintenance of Friends Landing.

Volunteer contract time frame: Begin April 15, 2025 and expected to remain on-site through October 15, 2025. May arrive on-site as early as March 15, 2025 and remain on-site no later than November 15, 2025.

Accounting Specialist

The Port of Grays Harbor is on the verge of unprecedented growth and expansion at our Marine Terminals.  We are seeking an outstanding full-charge accounts receivable specialist who is an energetic, detailed-oriented person with outstanding accuracy, work ethic and customer service skills.  Candidates must demonstrate a superior work ethic, a positive attitude, and an ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization and also with customers.  This position manages and performs all aspects of the Port’s Marine Terminal, Pilotage and Ship Assist account receivables, assists with general accounting and records management activities.  Salary range $53,873-$75,422.

Project Engineer

The Port of Grays Harbor is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join its Planning and Engineering team. 

This role reports to the Department Director and assists in managing capital projects, infrastructure improvements, and environmental compliance at Port facilities throughout Grays Harbor County, including four deepwater marine terminals, industrial properties, Westport Marina, Satsop Business Park, Bowerman Airport, and Friends Landing.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organization skills, and experience working with contractors, agencies, and the public on a variety of project types. Be part of the team building and managing key infrastructure benefiting Grays Harbor County’s residents, businesses, visitors, and environment.
