Aberdeen, WA – The Port of Grays Harbor is excited to announce the addition of Liz Doolittle as Marine Terminals Manager and Nolan Wyatt as Marine Terminal Superintendent.

Mr. Wyatt grew up in Grays Harbor and will be the Port’s Marine Terminal Superintendent and Facility Security Officer after spending the last four years as a Third and then Second Mate aboard tankers in the Gulf Coast.  He is a graduate of the California State University Maritime Academy, holding a BS in Marine Transportation.  Mr. Wyatt also holds a US Coast Guard 2nd Mate Unlimited License and has first-hand knowledge of the Port’s water-side operations having served as a deckhand for Brusco Tug and Barge since 2018, while home from his East Coast position.

Ms. Doolittle will be responsible for managing operations at the Port’s four deep-water terminals including supervision of vessel loading, train movements, vessel movements, labor, and maintenance and storage at Terminal 2.  Mr. Wyatt serves as lead support to the Marine Terminal Manager and is responsible for the overall security of the Marine Terminals including planning, development and management of the Port’s environmental health and safety initiatives.

“With their backgrounds and experience, Liz and Nolan have really hit the ground running and are proving to be assets to our division,” shared Deputy Executive Director Leonard Barnes.  “Based on our current level of activity as a leading US export center for American-grown soybean meal and with more growth expected for the marine terminals, we are well-poised to serve our existing customer’s needs now and well into the future with the addition of these two fine individuals.  Their skills and knowledge are a compliment to the Port team.”

Led by Deputy Executive Director Leonard Barnes, Ms. Doolittle and Mr. Wyatt join Business & Trade Development Assistant Shannon Anderson to round out the Port’s Trade team.
